Owner and CEO Paul Saviez was born and raised on the Saviez Ranch, following in his father and grandfather's footsteps with working on the land. The third generation grower attended Santa Rosa Junior College and University of California at Davis studying various viticulture programs. Paul left and started his own business in the early 80's as a licensed contractor, yet still managed to work at the ranch for his father. He took over the Saviez Ranch from his father, Cyril, in 1988 and started what is now Saviez Vineyard Management. As of a result in his ambition and hard work,in 1997 started Saviez Vineyard Wine Co. to bring full circle the farming heritage of the Saviez's in Napa Valley.
